The bathroom door opened, letting steam and heat wash over Kevin.

Peter stilled in the doorway, a towel around his waist and nothing else. His blond hair was shades darker and wet. Water droplets trailed down his wide shoulders, lightly sculpted chest and followed the trail of hair to disappear behind the towel.

Kevin almost swallowed his tongue.

"Everything okay?" Peter asked, his voice husky.

Less than a foot separated them, but it felt like too much, too little.

Kevin said, "Yes," but shook his head to contradict. "I've been thinking."
